Prerpositions of place

To describe the location of something or someone we use the prepositions of place.
The generally used prepositions of place are the following:

in

in front of
behind
below
above
between
among
around
far
near
into
out of
onto
off
opposite
under
next to

So when we want to ask about the location of something (or someone):

-       Where is the muffin?

-       It is in the box.

-       It is on the box….. Now we have various ways to explain it.
